BEF-2016-Scholarships

On May 9, the Branson R-IV Education Foundation (BEF) awarded 10 scholarships, totaling $7,500 to graduating seniors during Branson High Schools, Honors Night.

The 2016 seniors receiving a scholarship in the amount of $750 include: Joshua Avina, Jack Cathcart, Rachel Edens, Emily Gifford, Rachel Haynes, Tyler Steven Hinkle, Amanda Morgan, Noah Allen Pagan, Carlie Ribando, and Brooklyn Stoner. Each student completed an application and provided a copy of classes completed, grade point average, community service, extracurricular activities, and a written essay.

“We are very proud of the hard work and determination of these students,“ said Bill Quigg, Foundation Chairman. “The Branson R-IV Education Foundation wishes each of them the best in their future educational pursuits toward higher learning.”

The Branson Education Foundation is a 501c3 established in 2010, independent of the Branson School District as a means for accepting and managing financial donations, helping to fund additional programs within the Branson School District through scholarships for innovative materials, experiences, and other necessary programs in the classroom. The BEF manages the endowment fund through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks.
